Coolspring media is based in London with offices in Frankfurt and Los Angeles and was founded by Dr. Hilmar Siebert in 2003.

The former chairman of J & M Entertainment decided to set up his own production company to develop high quality programming with a strong commercial focus for a global audience. This will include the production of docu-mentary features under the coolspring label, together with commercially and critically acclaimed partners around the world.

The main focus will be international co-pro-duction for theatrical and TV distribution.

Financing Competence

Industry knowledge combined with financial competence is a crucial factor in the re-alization of film projects. Through years of experience in the area of financing media projects and being responsible for a series of corporate transactions in the entertainment industry we are able to share this knowledge with our partners. Filmmakers must rely upon a unique and innovative competence in the field of film funding.

The essential pillar of film financing will continue to be bank financing. However, the world of film finance is a continuing change. Each project will have a different structure and has to be tailored according to the indi-vidual "financial ingredients" being applied.

As a matter of principle coolspring media does not invest equity in the production of its movies; financing is exclusively provided externally.
